The women's tennis team notched a 6-0 victory against Anna Maria in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest on the road on Saturday evening.
Johnson & Wales swept the three doubles matches, all by scores of 8-1 to take the 3-0 lead. The No. 1 doubles team of Samantha Jo Borr (Westfield, N.J.) and Andrea Sultan-Campbell (Caracas, Venezuela) continued to impress on the year. The Wildcats would get points from six different players on the day, including a commanding 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles for freshman Stephanie Piperis (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.). Only three singles matches were completed as the remainder of the match was stopped due to rain.

The Wildcats will return to action on Sunday, October 16th when they host Mills College of California in a non-conference contest at the Moses Brown Courts, starting at 10:00 a.m.
